Our mission
Japan's vacant-home information is spread across municipal pages and local property systems, often only in Japanese. AkiyaBeacon organizes selected public listings into a consistent English discovery experience and always directs readers back to the original publisher.
Basic listing discovery will remain free. The long-term business model is advertising-supported, with ads kept visibly separate from editorial content and never used to determine listing facts or rankings.
What AkiyaBeacon is—and is not
- An independent editorial discovery service, not a government or municipal website.
- A source-linked English summary, not the legal or authoritative listing.
- At the current editorial-beta stage, AkiyaBeacon is not acting as the seller or broker for the listings shown.
- Brokerage or transaction support may be introduced in the future. Any such service will be clearly identified with its provider, scope, fees, terms, and required disclosures before a user engages it.
- The current editorial service is not a substitute for an inspector, lawyer, tax adviser, immigration adviser, or other qualified professional.
Editorial promise
Raw crawler output is never published automatically. Each property must be tied to an original Japanese source, reviewed, structured, and validated before publication. If a translation is uncertain, the uncertainty stays visible rather than being presented as fact.

AkiyaBeacon is in editorial beta. Coverage is selective and does not represent every vacant home, municipality, or available property in Japan. A listing can change or become unavailable between checks, so the original source must be confirmed before any decision.
